The workspace tools located along the bottom of the screen are used to analyze the current geometric shape (e.g., triangle). Dragging and dropping a point, line, or circle onto the shape effectively attaches itself to the shape to create a child-parent attachment relationship.  The relationship can be broken by moving the child tool from the parent. When you drag a shape, point, line, etc. with attached tools, all the attached tools move given how they are attached.
